Global Environmental Responds Initiative is a non-profit and non-political organization. It is an organization that protects, and creates strategies in ensuring a safe environment for all through proper environmental management.
Global Environmental Responds Initiative is managed by seven Board members of trustees and a legal adviser. The organization has about 25 staff of different background, more than 200 volunteers working all together for the successful delivery of the initiative.

AIM AND OBJECTIVES
- To contribute in ensuring environmental sustainability:
- To ensure healthy living and safe environment for motherless, disables, less privilege and the society:
- Health safety environment at home, work place and community:
- Combating environmental caused diseases (epidemic) such as cholera, Lassa, to mention few and ensuring good health through adequate water, sanitation facilities and total hygiene in schools and communities reducing mortality rate.
- To protect, create strategy on ensuring a safe environment for all through proper environmental management (waste disposal, pollution control, waste management, climate change, environmental impact assessment, environmental auditing and so on).
- Awareness, campaigns, sensitization on health safety and environment aiming at zero injuries at homes, schools and work place.
- To cater for less privilege via health care facility, education and scholarships.
- To promote and foster the well-being of children and the protection of their rights.
- To advocate on human rights and meet rural and environmental challenges.
- To cater for the general welfare of the members and the society.
- To promote peace, justice and equality.
- To empower the children, youths and women in the society.
- To conduct research and offer consultancy.
